Marshall South's March Baby of the Month: Welcome Halle Wordlaw!

At Marshall Medical Centers South, we love celebrating the precious new lives that enter the world, and this month, we are thrilled to introduce our Baby of the Month for March, Halle Wordlaw! Born on March 4th at 7:55 AM, this sweet little girl weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was welcomed with love by her parents, Jordan and Brock Wordlaw.

Jordan had a C-section delivery at Marshall South and shared that her experience was nothing short of wonderful. This isn’t her first time delivering here—she also had her first child at Marshall South and knew she was in good hands once again. 

“All of the nurses have been absolutely awesome here,” she said, expressing her gratitude for the care she received.

This marks an exciting new chapter for the Wordlaw family, as they adjust to life with a baby girl. Their 4-year-old son at home will soon take on the role of big brother, and Jordan knows this will be an interesting transition. 

“I think it will be interesting bringing a little girl home,” she shared.

Fortunately, Jordan has a strong support system, with family members on both sides awaiting the arrival of little Halle so they can lend a helping hand. 

“We have a really supportive family on both sides. They are all eagerly waiting for us to bring her home so they can come help,” she said. 

Brock, a firefighter for the Albertville Fire Department, works on a 24-hour on, 48-hour off schedule. While this will make things a little different with a newborn at home, Jordan is confident in their ability to adjust. 

“It will definitely be different with him working and having a newborn baby at home,” she shared.

When asked about her advice for expecting mothers considering Marshall South for their delivery, Jordan’s response was simple and heartfelt: “Do it.” She added, “I never encountered a bad nurse. Everyone was so sweet and so helpful. This is a really good department.”
