Hospital Charges Information

We encourage all patients to find out as much as they can about the cost of their care before coming to the hospital. Please contact us if you would like to obtain an estimate of the cost of our services.

If you have insurance, you should check with your insurance company to find out if the service is covered and what your copayments and deductibles might be. The same is true if you’re on Medicaid or Medicare. If you do not have health insurance coverage, please call Patient Financial Services at 256-894-6600 and we will be happy to assist you with an estimate of your bill and work with you to come up with a plan for payment. Based on the information you provide, you may be able to receive financial assistance.

A link to our Charge Description Master is provided below. Please note that these charges do not accurately reflect actual patient responsibility in most circumstances. The list of charges are gross hospital charges to provide a particular service, supply, or medication, and generally do not reflect what the hospital is paid or what the patient will pay. The Charge Description Master should not be used to estimate the patient’s actual cost.
