As a one of the largest employers in our area, Marshall Medical is often asked for donations or to purchase sponsorship advertising for sports and other community events.
As a not-for-profit, community-owned healthcare system, we are take our responsibility as being stewards of tax payer dollars very seriously. Therefore these requests must be evaluated to ensure they are consistent with our mission. We also must consider the value of the exposure involved, and the potential for informing area residents about the healthcare services offered at Marshall Medical.
The process of evaluating donation and sponsorship requests includes submitting a completed copy of the application form that may be downloaded (see link below). Completed applications are shared with the MMC Advertising Sponsorship Review Committee the first working day of each month. Action from the committee can take up to seven business days, and once approved checks are usually available within a week to 10 days.
