Marshall South's April Baby of the Month: Welcome, Avery Dilbeck!

We are so excited to introduce our April Baby of the Month, sweet Avery Dilbeck, born to proud parents Mckenzie and Alex Dilbeck!

Avery made his grand entrance into the world on April 3, 2025, at 8:18 PM, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. From the very beginning, Avery has brought joy and love into his family’s lives—and ours here at Marshall Medical Centers.

Mckenzie shared her heartfelt experience delivering at Marshall Medical South, and we’re honored to have been part of such a special moment in her family’s journey.

“Delivering at Marshall Medical South has been the best experience,” Mckenzie said. “Everyone has been extremely attentive.”

After a two-day induction that ended with an unplanned C-section, Mckenzie and Alex were met with calm, capable hands and compassionate care.

“Everyone was cool, calm, and collected. Everything went perfectly—and we have a perfect baby!”

Mckenzie also had high praise for Dr. Thornbury, who guided them through the entire process with expertise and care.

“Dr. Thornbury is very attentive and very knowledgeable. He listens and never brushes off anything you have to say. He is a 10/10 doctor.”

As new parents, feeling supported and safe makes all the difference—and that’s what we strive for with every delivery.

“I don’t think I could have felt safer or more prepared than I did when I delivered here at Marshall Medical Centers,” Mckenzie added. “There were no questions left on the table.”
