Dr. Lance Justice of Medical Centers OB-GYN was recently presented with the Mentor of the Year award by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG).
“I am honored and humbled to have received this award,” Dr. Justice said. “God has given me the desire to help educate and mentor not only future doctors but staff and patients as well. Without Him none of this would be possible.”
The ACOOG Mentor of the Year is selected by a group of OB-GYNs nominated annually by members of the College. The ACOOG Membership and Promotions Committee reviews each nominee and recommends a recipient who is then confirmed by the board. Recognition at the annual conference speaks highly of the physician’s contributions, dedication to osteopathic education and commitment to improving women's health.
Dr. Justice has been practicing at Medical Centers OB-GYN on the Marshall North campus since 2011. Dr. Paul McGehee recently joined the practice.
“He brings 20 plus years experience to the table. I have been able to see his mentoring skills with some of the students and this community is very fortunate to have another provider as passionate and as knowledgeable as Dr. Megehee.”
Dr. Justice attended the ACOOG conference in San Antonio with his wife Jodie and their two daughters.
Dr. Justice is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
