HH Health Opens New Business Operations Center in Arab

ARAB, Ala. – Huntsville Hospital Health System (HH Health) and Marshall Medical Centers have opened a new 32,000-square-foot Operations Center in Arab, representing a significant investment in Marshall County and creating capacity for up to 250 local jobs.

The new facility, located at 8830 U.S. 231, will serve as a hub for a variety of nonclinical functions that support patients and health care teams across HH Health, including billing, preregistration, scheduling, customer service and accounting. Approximately 60 employees are already working from the center.

“Patient care happens in our hospitals, physician offices and clinics, but it is supported every day by dedicated teams working behind the scenes,” said Clinton Carter, chief financial officer for HH Health. “This new center is an investment in the people and resources that help make exceptional health care possible across our region. We are proud to build on that work in Arab.”

The Arab facility is only the second centralized business operations center for the nonprofit, community-based health system, which includes 15 hospitals serving communities across North Alabama and southern Tennessee. HH Health’s existing center in Madison had reached capacity, creating the need for additional space and a second location for essential business functions.

“Our teams are supporting more patients, hospitals and communities than ever before, and we needed additional space to accomplish that important work,” said David Ralston, executive director of Revenue Cycle for HH Health. “This new location gives us the flexibility we need, and I’m incredibly proud of the team that helped make it possible. The work they do every day makes a difference across our health system.”

The new center also helps keep jobs and business operations within the region rather than outsourcing those functions elsewhere, extending the local impact of HH Health and Marshall Medical Centers beyond patient care.

“This is about more than opening an office. It is an investment in Marshall County,” said Chris Rush, president of Marshall Medical Centers. “Bringing these jobs to Arab creates new opportunities for families in our region while supporting the hospitals and teams that care for our friends and neighbors. We are proud to invest locally for the future.”

HH Health is actively hiring for a variety of positions at the Arab Operations Center, with additional roles expected to be added throughout the year. To learn more or apply, visit https://careers-hhsys.icims.co....
